New TC Encores

I see where you can send the frame off and get “Trigger Job” done on them. I see where you can go as low as 1lb.
Has anyone done this?
Russel Lynch of MAX Muzzleloaders Accuracy Xperts use to sell DVD's on how to do trigger jobs. That was over 15 years ago, I am not sure where you would get them anymore. There are YouTube videos showing the Bellm kits that are sold along with "How To". You can do it yourself and really improve the trigger.

I bought the stones and springs, at the time all the stuff was cheap, watched Lynch's TC Encore video, and replicated what was presented on the video as it went through the step-by-step process (pausing the screen at each step). Later I bought a TiggerTech Diamond model trigger for a centerfire rifle. The TriggerTech is sweet; the trigger job I did on my Encore muzzloader is every bit as sweet. Not saying I did such a great job, just saying the video was very well done and easy to follow.

Edit: Initially I had summarized what can be polished and emphasizing a person had to be careful not to remove too much. I removed that part because of the danger it could lead to if polished too much.

Warning: Altering the trigger part by polishing voids warranty. Over polishing can make the rifle unsafe!

The Bellm kits to replace the springs can really improve the trigger without voiding the warranty and is probably the best way to go unless you really rather have a gunsmith do it for you.
