Hello all I am new to the forum and came upon this post, I am looking at putting together gear for a first backcountry elk hunt. I have been reading this forum and scouring everywhere and getting lots of great info. I was wondering on this new cylinder stove or oval stove which one you guys would recommend also what size would you recommend, I am looking at putting this in a 4 or 6 man tipi, which I am also looking into at this time as well.

Don't overlook the Sawtooth Matt. I have a paratipi, a Sawtooth, a 6 man tipi, and an 8 man tipi. The Sawtooth is my favorite. I'm waiting for my cylinder stove to arrive, but A'Ron will hook you up.

Primitive, I actually really like the sawtooth and have been looking at it as well. I am looking for something to serve at least two purposes, be a great hunting shelter for me and 1 other person, and to take me and my son (6 years old) camping. I know it would be big enough for that, but I have a fear that 1 or both of my daughters may want to start tagging along as well at some point and I am afraid it won't be big enough for more than 2. My wife has no desire to tent camp so I am not worried about having to have room for the whole family. With your selection and experience from the shelters you have do you have any thoughts?
