New Solo Bowhunter.. Idaho Elk help please

Using a low clearance car will be difficult to get you far enough back to hike beyond where everyone in a truck and atv/axe will start their hunts. I saw a group this year try to drive back with a long trail of oil from bottoming out their oil pan and they another 4 miles to go to get where the truck parked to start their atv ride.

The panhandle zone was garbage this year for archery season. Sure some bulls hit the ground but most reports were pretty poor hunting compared to years past. Tough place to hunt if they aren’t being very vocal.
