Link below to the overview video of Seekins’ new product launch. Some interesting features from an interesting action design (no action screws), toolless trigger, ambi safety, etc..

Would guess the eventual PH4 may be heavily influenced by this new their approach here.

That rifle is pretty cool. Hits all my sniper rifle fetish buttons.

Love their work around on the 700 trigger failures- just carry a second one and swap them out. Two is one and one is none right?

I do like it though. Very well thought out.

not sure if anyone knows, i will ask here before starting a new thread. but I reached out to seekins about swapping my 6.5 prc to a 300wsm. From everything i read folks do this all the time, but seekins gave me a shortlist of short actions i can use. I talked to a gunsmith who said he can match the action with a blank. I am confused why seekins is saying 300wsm is not a short action. I do not want to break my gun but the point of changing out systems was why i got the gun and it seems it was a lie unless you use only the 5-7 calibers they make.

Thanks in advance

If anything a 6.5PRC needs a longer (medium) action vs a 300 WSM does.

I tried to use a 300 WSM magaine in my 6.5PRC Tikka. (I wanted to d s flush magazine). I couldn't use factory 6.5 PRC rounds because the 300WSM mag was too short without Dremel work.

I would call back.

Any update on this? Im looking at doing a ph3 in 6.5 creedmoor. Then getting a mag bolt face and a bsf prefit in 300 wsm to swap to. Wanted to be sure before pulling the trigger. Liked the economic idea of one rifle / one scope for practice and hunting
