Looking at Maven RS 1.2, SWFA 3-15 Gen 2 or possibly a NightForce SHV.

Just want to hear inputs if anyone has any hands on experience with one or more of them directly, I’ve read all the field tests and am torn.

Thanks!

I have no experience with those specifically, but they all have solid reputations. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them. I own six or seven SWFA scopes and like them a lot. I would add a Trijicon Accupoint to your list of potential scopes.

Are there certain criteria you're looking for? like my maven rs1.2 mostly for the reticle. I have nightforce and swfa scopes, but not the models your looking at. My wife prefers a swfa 3-9 over my nightforce NXS for the forgiving eyebox.

Honestly not sure and that is from a place of inexperience. I haven’t done much shooting through a scope unfortunately. Lots of firearm experience, limited scope work. I open to suggestions, I know I will have to find what works for me!

I will add the trijicon to the list now as well! Looking for something reliable and is good enough to get the job done out 400 yards or so. Which I believe all will do that. I will likely eliminate the nighforce just based off weight, if that helps at all.

Thanks!

I bought the maven 1.2 last year to try out on my 300 wsm. I really like it. Nice usable reticle for hunting. No problems with it. Just ordered another one for my 6 creed. Never looked at the others.

I have 2 of the RS 1.2's and they work as advertised. I will continue to buy them until something better comes out. The reticle works fine for hunting and target shooting. If you have any specific questions, let me know.

Ive got SWFA 3X9, if everything works out it'll be used on a MT Goat hunt this fall. Im very impressed with the glass, on 9 power you can see a slight haze on the outer ring of the field of view, but honestly plan to get another SWFA to stick on a .223 of mine. I dont regret the purchase.

I have one of each. They are all good scopes.
I would recommend the SWFA 3-9. It’s light and will do everything you need.
If new to scopes you might consider the 6x fixed power SWFA…if you can catch it in stock that is. It will work beautifully out to 400 yds, it’s very light and the KISS principle personified!
You can always move into a variable power later if you choose.
