New reloading setup suggestions/critique/recommendations

I've heard a lot of people prefer the Nexus Press to Area 419. If having all of your dies stay in the press and just rotating it, I could see the Area 419 benefit - but it costs $400 more.

The 419 Gen 2 allegedly offers some cam over, which was the most talked about aspect that some preferred about the Nexus. Haven’t tried the Gen 2 to say one way or the other. Gen 1 is nice enough and if someone is offloading to upgrade, there may be a deal to be had.

The budget version is the T7 with one of the Creedmoor Sports enhanced or adaptive turret heads.

I keep telling myself that an autotrickler + FX120i will reduce my ES by getting to-the-grain accurate over my RCBS Chargemaster Lite...but then I'm honest with myself and my current 30-40 FPS ES is completely reasonable reusing Hornady and PPU brass.

I went from using a shitty drop thrower and trickling up on a scale to the combo you mentioned and holy hell it’s so satisfying to use. 100% the best reloading purchase I’ve made… but it wouldn’t probably be as satisfying going from a different auto thrower to this setup.

I started with a Hornady Lock N Load kit. It was a good unit to learn on.

Recently upgraded to a SAC Nexus and really like it. Extremely smooth and consistent. The Hornady 3-1 trimmer is great. Did 150 cases of 223 yesterday in no time.

Micrometer dies are a good purchase.

The Primal Rights CPS (primer seater) is a great addition to the bench as well. Sped up my loading time significantly.

Short action customs. There stuff is top notch and you pay for it. But if your loading for multiple cartridges it may be worth it. A lot of there products are modular. High precision. There are tons of ways to shrink your groups. And countless rabbit holes. If your looking for sub moa. Then try to just stick to quality basic products. Primal rights on you tube has a good simple procedure.

I've found the Frankfort arsenal universal seating die to be super useful. Once you have this you only need to buy a sizing die for whatever caliber. Seating is a simple function and there is no need for caliber specific.

Is the little crow trimmer pretty accurate?

Seems like the best choice without having to go all the way up to something like the Girard, Hornady or Henderson. I’m just starting and don’t think spending that much on a trimmer is necessary for a beginner.
