Agreed. As an old man with spectacles, I like the generous eye relief not always found on 32mm binos. As a fan of the UHD'S, I would expect these to be outstanding. I will be looking for some to try out.

For the money and resale value I’ll buy a used pair of SLCs

Hard to beat SLC's for sure. I have one. They don't come in 8x32 though.

I have a pair of 7x30 SLC'S, which are quite good. They have the front focus wheel and longest eye relief of any small binocular I have used.
