In a heavy rainy environment ive never been impressed with any Gortex or DWR type gear.
I layer with a lightweight non breathable packable rain shell, on the move light non breathable layers keep me plenty warm, If its cold ill pack a puffy to stay warm when stationary.
Im still looking for non breathable traditional raingear thats fitted (not baggy) that I can wear all day if needed. Anyone have suggestions?
I always get wet heading in and out of the brush more than sweating....
