Well at least this gives all of something to look forward too everyday even if most of us won’t draw a tag.. Looking forward to normal life again with sports and hunting!

I've applied 5 years in NM as a resident for elk, deer, and oryx. I've never drawn an elk or oryx tag, and only one good deer tag (2B). This is my first year applying as a NR and I'm more excited this year with lower draw odds. What is wrong with us? Haha

I grew up in NM, joined the Corps and was able to draw at least one tag in most years. I have been a NR since retiring from the Corps and settling elsewhere and have not drawn a tag in the 6 years since. They must be mad at me for leaving.

Well, something is going on. My OIL status is "Unavailable at the present time, sorry for the incontinence".

There is some speculation on other forums that the Gov of NM may put a hold on things. There is a gentleman over there that either works for NMFG or knows someone that hinted results would not be delayed, however. I would be willing to guess that the current environment just has things delayed a little more than normal. NM is usually pretty fast with results and may just be waiting until they have employees in place to handle the influx once results are actually posted.

I did hear (other forum) the NF roads were shut down.

Looks like all of us are over on the other forum (MM) as well.

That guy does work for F&G from what I remember and has been accurate w/ past info.

Hoping that stays true.

I just browse over there from time to time...I couldn't remember if it was him or another guy who was accurate about NM in the past but I knew someone was. I'm betting they get released tomorrow so they only deal with an overload for one day. Makes the most sense with everything going on assuming most of their staff likely out or working from home.

What is this other “MM” forum? I would be interested. Thanks!
