Hi all, just joining this forum looking for a possible new bow from a member here. I had a Bear Kuma 33 and absolutely loved the bow. On October when the crypto market kind of crashed, I had some stress and went to shoot it. I was so stressed, I forgot to load the second arrow and dried fired it. I bought the bow new in 2019 and in six years Bear already is not selling any parts for that bow. I tried to buy it again on-line and no one is really selling them at a fair price for a six yearold bow. I thought I'd be a Bear customer for life, but I refuse to spend flagship money on their bows and if something goes wrong with a part you have to trash the whole bow. One of my cams got damaged and Bear said they're not selling any parts for that bow anymore, which was only six years old.

Since nobody else has responded, on behalf of the membership, welcome and sorry to hear about your predicament.

Although I’m not a Mathew’s guy and don’t wear skinny jeans or makeup (lighten up people, I’m just kidding) it is pretty much common knowledge that the only bow manufacturer who tends to keep/manufacture spare parts for a significant period of time is Mathew’s.

It’s nice to see a loyal Bear customer as they are pioneers. However, there are lots of great options out there. Good luck with however you decide to proceed.
