Thanks! I’m in Houston, the flat concrete jungle. I’ve never hunted any of the game species in the other regions like mule deer, elk etc. so I know very little about them and I’ve never put in for draws and stuff like that so most of the verbiage like preference points, hint units and things like that are something I haven’t dealt with. but I’m hoping to gain some knowledge about other species, where and when to hunt them as well as steps to take to possibly get tags.

If you've got any questions regarding draws/points/etc. feel free to call the DSC office anytime and ask for Carson or Nate. Also, Houston Safari Club is pretty active and in your backyard, they might be a good local resource for you.
