I mostly hunt whitetail, ducks, and small game at home, but I will be making my second western hunt this year. My first was an OTC elk hunt in CO in 2022. This year my 12yoa was able to draw a CO mule deer buck tag with 0 points so he will be the main focus of the hunt. I know very little about elk hunting and even less about mule deer. I’m here to soak up as much info as possible before October.
