I got a LE discount but not as good of a deal as gun zone. I didn't want arca and gun zone said they haven't had picatinny in a very long time and I have yet to see them or I would have canceled my order at MDTI wasn’t in a huge rush but happy I didn’t pay retail for mine knowing that gunzone is slinging those things at dealer cost or close to it.
Never shot it with the spiked feet but these did fine.Still waiting for the bipod.
I ordered a set of these to try with it

Rubber Bipod Feet — PRShootingSolutions
these bipod feet are compatible with mdt mountain and backcountry bipods, made from durable nylon-cf and tpu, easily fits over the legs of the bipod replacing the spike feetwww.prshootingsolutions.com
Those things have been readily available on gun zone and they're like 333 bucks on there. I sent an inquiry yesterday to MDT and today received a tracking number. I wonder if they're just forgetting about orders or who knows what. Either way mine's on the way. That's all I care about. I wish I wanted an arca cuz I would have bought it from gun zone
I’ve ordered from them in the past with no issuesThat site has a bunch of nasty reviews. Have you ordered from it? Seems too good to be true at that price…

First impressions
I finally got my hands on the Mountain Bipod in the pic rail version (11407-BLK). I first ordered it from a supposedly reliable dealer/machining company out of Michigan. Suffice to say, I will never do that again….
I had a coupon and was able to place a new order from Optics Planet.
Just received it today:
My first impressions are that it is overall what I expected. Light, and seems durable enough for its intended purpose of hunting, and not to bear the weight of a 25 pound target rifle. It fits really nice and tight in my SRS pic rail. However, the mechanism that allows for the spread of the legs is loose. See my pics showing the amount of movement in relation to a static line on the paper behind the bipod. I’ve emailed MDT to see if this is in tolerance and normal for this model. I will update as I receive more information in case anyone is interested.
I don’t think it’s a deal breaker for me, just not quite what I expected for an almost $500 bipod. All other functions seem nice and tight. View attachment 924214
Good to know, thanks.Yes a tapered pin would have been nice in the splay hole, Mine has the same amount of movement. When using the bipod it does not effect its function though.
