New Marmot active insulation

I saw this as part of their new fall release and the specs really caught my eye. PrimaLoft Active Evolve insulation with a ripstop shell coming in at $160. Has anyone got their hands on one? I love Marmot gear so I'm intrigued.​

It seem they forgot to add the face fabric specs 20,30D and the Evolve gsm.

At that price is a good alternative.

I haven’t considered marmot in a while, but that looks like a solid choice with the face fabric.

I just bought the new Outdoor Vitals too... I bought the black diamond alpine start insulated (which I believe is still on sale on multiple sites) but returned it due to I think its too loud for bowhunting but it would offer great wind protection and seems durable. If I knew the specs on this one, it would be intriguing. I feel I'm gonna miss not having hand pockets on the Outdoor Vitals.

I was researching this too. From what I can tell though it’s just the face fabric and shell….

I’ve been looking at the FL Navigator too, same ish face fabric but feels like it has some synthetic down insulation behind it which would make it a tad warmer.

The marmot has a “puffy” look to it as well…any other insulation in there?

Edit: FL description reads same. Just active fleece fabric.

Looks like a pretty good piece, and Marmot makes quality stuff at a good price. I would try this if I didn’t already have that slot filled in my kit. I definitely would size down compared to that model, closer to skin fit to allow another layer on top.

Anyone have more info? This is essentially the Sitka ambient, but can’t tell if this is the 100 or what… shell rating and evolve weight would be great details for them to post! Haha

I emailed them to ask those questions and never got a response. But given the weight of it o would guess it’s more like a 75? I ordered one last night to try
