New Kimber Mountain Ascent

Exactly, a 6mm creed Adirondack would be badass. That's a kimber I'd buy!
There’s a lot of cool things they could do, heck an Adirondack hunter would probably be a hit. It seems like they are really trimming down their rifles these days though, at one time there was a dozen different rifles, now there’s 2? No kore Montana’s?

They're sure trying to get it right. The cutout on the bottom of the stock isn't present on the 280 AI and 300 WM, wish they were all that way. If they'd do AICS, no cutout on all calibers, and a 6mm CM I'd probably be buying one.

Has anyone put their hands on one? Curious to stock dimensions, comb and grip to trigger length. I wanting a 280 AI and have just ruled out the weatherby, so this is my only choice unless I can find a used one.

I've gotta older Mountain ascent in 280 AI , I really like it. The new ones look great. I have not had any luck locating Kimber rifles at all. Out of stock? Not sure what's up.

From what I understand is they have just been depleting their stock of old models for last year or so. They have told me these new models are shipping now.

I ordered one of these in 280 ai, I’ve wanted an Ackley Improved since I read about them in high school. I did the paperwork yesterday and have to wait the 10 days here in California. It feels nice in the hand, grip to trigger fit my hand nicely. I’ll work it out and report back with how it shoots and my impressions. Hopefully I’ll be able to take a cow elk in Oregon in November with it.

Looks like street price is around $1300, which makes these a little more interesting!

I'd like to know actual weight. Website says 5 lb 6 oz for the short actions.
