All for the stickerThe case is nice. My sling seems unusable. About 6 inches of strap above the padded part I can’t adjust out. It went back in the box…
And don’t forget there’s a sticker in there too…
I didn’t get it on a closeout but do have one in 280 ai. I’m real happy with it. I sighted it in with the factory muzzle brake, then swapped the brake to an Area 419 Hellfire cause I can’t stand radial brakes. I don’t know what happened but it shot like sh!t with that brake. Swapped it to a Jetblast and it went back to shooting little groups again. Only thing I can think is that heavy brake messed with harmonics on that thing barrel. I’d never seen anything like that.Did they offer up any .280 Ack. Imp. @ the $800 closeout?
Anyone gets one of those? If so , assessment?

I cant believe i talked myself out of this deal.
I keep kicking myself lol
65 in/lbs, confirmed by Kimber CS last weekPicked mine up today. Much lighter than it looks, and stock is extremely rigid. Wasn’t sure if I’d like the vertical grip style but it feels great. Out of the box the bolt isn’t even half as smooth as my tikka T3. Going to tear it down / clean / reassemble, work the bolt a couple hundred times to try and smooth it out some. I hope it shoots well. Anyone know what the torque specs are for the action screws?
Thank you! They were right at 50 from the factory, I’ll tighten them up.65 in/lbs, confirmed by Kimber CS last week
Id recommend everyone strip their rifle down and remove excess oil around mag well, action screws, etc
Once we start posting group pics you will likely shed some tearsThese were a great deal! I had a 6.5 CM sitting in my cart for an hour or two - was trying to talk myself into it, but just didn't really "need" it. That may be something I regret haha.
