What is that one chambered in?
My 6.5 CM was 5lb 15 oz.308, -06, 270 back for $799.
Has anyone else received their short actions yet? Someone posted the listed weight on these guns was without the bolt…
You get the muzzle brake and the adapter. So the only way to protect the crown is the brake. No thread protector is included. They send it in a soft case and have a padded sling also. And a pin designed for installing and removing the brake. Are any of these coming with muzzle adapters? The 7/16x24 is an odd ball for sure. I’ll probably chop to 20” and thread at some point.
Mine has a muzzle adapter but no cap. And the items mentioned above. The no cap thing is odd, but it will prob be shot with the brake for the most part. Are any of these coming with muzzle adapters? The 7/16x24 is an odd ball for sure. I’ll probably chop to 20” and thread at some point.
Buddy said his came with 5/8 adapter, waiting for OD measurement on base/shoulder...sure hope it'll fit into an OG 6.5. Some do, some don't from my experience so far.Are any of these coming with muzzle adapters? The 7/16x24 is an odd ball for sure. I’ll probably chop to 20” and thread at some point.
That is good to know, I can definitely put the dremel to useI had to file the corners off a factory Kimber 5/8 adapter to get it to fit in an OG30.

Will you Kimber experts comment on the Kimpro2 finish on these Rifles.Reviews on the net are mostly bad. Also has anybody tried removing it?I would love to put a good salt bath nitride finish on mine,if I every get it!
I've got a DS Warrior with it, and good buddy with a Hunter that has it. Seems to wear like cerakote to me...will see how it holds up on the 2 new boom sticksWill you Kimber experts comment on the Kimpro2 finish on these Rifles.Reviews on the net are mostly bad. Also has anybody tried removing it?I would love to put a good salt bath nitride finish on mine,if I every get it!
I've had a Kimber Hunter/Montana conversion with KimPro II finish for 8 years. It has held up great and should be easy to remove with sandblasting for a nitride finish. That is a great idea. Before nitriding, cut and thread the barrel at the length you want. This will make it easier on the gunsmith. Will you Kimber experts comment on the Kimpro2 finish on these Rifles.Reviews on the net are mostly bad. Also has anybody tried removing it?I would love to put a good salt bath nitride finish on mine,if I every get it!
