I replaced mine with the old k clips. Works better for me.

Why they are 2 for $5 if you just get K clips and if you get a repair kit there's 4 in it ($10 value ) and a ton of other stuff (over 30 pieces) . Why can't you get a 10/12 K clips for the same as a repair kit?

As an alternative to attaching things to PALS I get these 2@$1
I don't think they are quite as strong as K clips but for pouches and general connections they are quick and easy.

They came on another pack I got and it took forever to find them. They are called Gatekeeper clips. They come in 1" - 1.5" and ones with another loop to sew a strap onto it. AGC bino packs sells a 2" one. The link above has a lot of clips and stuff. They ship fast.
