I went on a 3 mile hike with 82# in my pack. 82# sucks sweaty donkey balls after the first mile or so. Called Aron with some fitting issues and he to me to shorten my straps. So I pull my belt off to do this and seems the bottom of my frame is buckling under weight. It also seems to lean to that side a bit. Is this normal? Hate to bother Aron again if I don't need to.

Your dog photo bombed you so well, I have a hard time seeing the frame. haha
Just call Aron and he will tell you a lot more than any of us.

Call him during work hours and you shouldn't feel like your bothering him. Looks like you'll be sending it back.

Your stays are a little shorter than the frame, so that bend is from the difference in frame sheet length and stay length. So when you set it down, the sheet is flexing a little until the stays hit.

It makes no actual difference when using the pack, as it all flattens out when it's on your body.

Call me anytime

He's actually a bichon frise and he's an A hole. He's ridiculously smart but disobedient and bad. He uses his intelligence for evil.
