NEW Kifaru 22 Mag!

Next bigger change was the load shelf setup. I originally requested a system that worked like the Stryker, but this is system is easy and when not in use the top of the bag is tight to the frame which I like. This is a sling that always stays attached to the frame and I believe it captures a load better. My gen 1 didn’t even have a shelf, you just relied on compression and the bottom straps to secure the load. Which worked fine until the load was awkward and uneven like it can be with loose meat.

I just got a 3rd gen 22 mag from here, not sure how I feel about the load sling yet. With how you have it configured it hangs too low for loose meat/metal plate/sand bags. I reworked it to sit like this (tucked flap behind) and like it for shallower loads. What is the purpose of such a deep load sling besides full quarters maybe? Even so, seems like it hang too low
