Wanted to share the new hunting arrows I built:
Victory RIP SS .204 shafts cut down to 27 inches from end of nock ears to end of carbon.
50g victory outserts.
150g VPA 3 Blade 1 1/4 vented broadheads.
One Shot arrow wraps.
AAE Trad vanes (3 fletch)
Total arrow weight coming in at 512g (12-15% FOC rough estimate) (9.3GPP) with 200 total grains up front (only hunting whitetail and hogs). These arrows bare shaft tuned super well to my setup and I just wanted to share and see what you guys are running this season! I’m running these out of my Bushmen 55# 58” tactical long curve and they are flying straight and fast very pleased with what I landed on and it’s always rewarding getting some bare shafts, tuning, cutting, and installing all the components you’re gonna hunt with on the arrow yourself. Gold tip warrior 500 spine (7.3gpi) cut 26.25 carbon to carbon, standard insert. 250 grain vpa 3 blades. 3 3 inch feather and sometime a wrap, other I just cut a piece of wrap. Some arrows for rain I run 3 3 inch trad vanes.

485-500 grains. 50ish lbs stalkers and toelkes at my 25-25.5 draw length. I think when I checked they are 22-24 percent foc, bareshaft tune great to 25 and stacks broadheads with fletched.

Killed 2 does on my buddies farm the last weekend, one at 23 yards and one at 34. Pass through on both.

I honestly think the efoc helps penetration with my short draw length. Ran the same set up on some low 40s stalkers and still got pass throughs but not nearly as consistent vs shooting low 50lbs.

Congrats on harvesting two freezer queens! Can’t beat meat in the freezer and great shooting! I’ve been practicing a lot at 30 and with this setup I’m getting some great speeds (haven’t chronographed it but just from release and time to target it’s quick) and that’s a killer setup you got.
