The original hinged footplate. The website says gen 3 bottom metal holds 5.Wow. Thats a significant improvement over where I’m currently at. Which floorplate did you go with?

The Oregon floor plate has been fixed. Basically I polished all rough edges on the blind box magazine, polished the aluminum follower, used fine sandpaper then emory cloth to round and polish the edges of the follower. Then I coated the inside of the blind box with aero shell grease and worked the follower up and down with my finger for a while. It now picks up a round every time and the follower tilt issue is fixed. Hope this helps anyone experiencing the same issues.Update on my build. Got everything together and got to work. I had to open up the barrel chamber in the stock a little because I got the 20 inch barrel on my 6 arc and the stockys stock was for the 22 inch sporter barrel. That wasn’t bad at all. Used a socket wrapped in sandpaper and took it slow.
The bottom metal is where things fell apart. It seems that everyone has the Jefferson and has no trouble. I have the Oregon Gunsmithing and it will not cycle reliably. Most of the time it won’t cycle at all. The follower tilts so easily and gets hung up that it’s pretty much useless. I’ve had it apart polishing any contact points that show up and cannot get it to function. Going to try contacting them to see if I can get it fixed. For now it seems the Jefferson is the way to go.
