I live just west of the cities. I feel you on leaving the mountains. I grew up in crested butte Colorado and moved to mn to chase my girlfriend now wife. Mn is pretty rad if you like the out doors. I does not have the mountains, but it’s super green everywhere. Boundary waters is the closest thing to the mountains I have ever been. (However I still head back multiple times a year to get my mtn fix, it was part of my agreement to move here. Lol)Where you from MN man? My in-laws are in Rochester and my wife wants to move back there eventually but I can't fathom leaving the mountains- could be an issue
