Hello everyone,
Been lurking around the page since about this time last year. Planning a DIY OTC elk bowhunt for September 2016 with my uncle and cousin. Prep work is in full swing so decided it was time to stop being a bystander. Training has begun and checklists are being made. Will be looking forward to seeing everyone's hunting stories from this season to keep me motivated! Just recently got out of the military but have a long way to go to get into the shape I want to be in, haha. Will be our first time hunting out west. This is something we wish we had done sooner as my grandfather who has passed away earlier this year would have loved to hear our stories from the trip. Now it has become more of a tribute hunt so a lot is going into it prep wise so we can have the best odds possible. Thanks
