Hi I’m a us ex pat based in NZ and often use Rokslide for reviews. My folks still live in CO so also good option for me to try and get access to classifieds and ship to them to bring out to me when they visit!

Bow and rifle hunt here on the North Island. Smaller animals but fallow are great eating deer!

Welcome! Keep us posted on your adventures and share a pic once in a while. Love NZ, spent a month there splitting times between the N and S islands. Special place for sure. Just curious, have you seen a Tahr yet?

Nope! I live up North and there aren’t any up here. Only been able to hunt more now the kids are a little older. Mostly smaller species of deer near where I live - Fallow and Sika deer. Also lots of wild goats!

Did a public land mission a couple weekends ago with my wife that about 9km in opened up to an abandoned farm. Was able to score a young stag from about 260m. Small animal but great eating!

Will share a few more photos as we get out a bit more often.
