Hey guys, new guy here from North Dakota and just wanted to say hi. I've been looking at a few threads here and it looks like a GREAT site and forum. I just found out I am going on my first elk hunting trip as we drew in NM so I'm excited for that. Hopefully I'll have some pictures to post here in October!

Where in North Dakota do you live....I grew up in New Rockford and still have a lot of family back there.

How's the water situation up there? I need some geese and greenheads. That may be the only thing I get to hunt this season after elk. Good to have you around. I've only been here a short while, but there is tremendous information here and everyone is willing to help.

Jason, I grew up in Stanley. The oil industry has DESTROYED the country there... It is pretty sad.

Marshrat, there is a ton of water in ND.
