Just saw an announcement for a Vx5 Gen 2 with competition grade adjustments. There were other things like toolless resettable turrets etc. With all the doubt about their ability to track and their durability, it would be nice to see some improvement.

Haha. Nothing has changed. Every single “new” version the same tired statements are made about them “unproved”, “updated. Nothing changes.

They’re on like 3 revisions/generations of the Mark 5- because nothing at all is wrong with them….

Do you have some experience with the VX5 Gen 2?

As a machinist I appreciate the trick new tool-less caps. As a hunter I resent their lack of reticle options on my beloved 2-12x or 2-10x scopes.

He’s got no love for vortex..

If you said SWFA, Trijicon, or Nightforce, you might have a more defendable (but still incorrect) position, but certainly not vortex.

I ordered a 4-20x52 with the tmoa ret. I'll zero with a 10 round group and see if it holds through hunting season.

I hope you had eaten a bunch of edibles or smoked a huge phat one before you typed that comment. It's really the only justifiable explanation.
