Good reviews on the solar model of the Fenix on DCRainmaker - it's not forever. It'll extend use and you can go longer between charges. Need to scroll down, but there's a chart here for the Fenix 6 Solar:

Wow, glad I read this before ordering. I was hoping it would eliminate the charging all together. I do like the camo, but not enough to spend that much on one I still need to charge.
