New from TX

Hey everyone, new guy here from the Texas coast. A couple buddies and I are planning a drop camp caribou trip in the Brooks Range this august and this forum has already proved an invaluable resource for us. I'm primarily an upland bird hunter, pointing dog trainer and fly fisherman, and despite being lucky enough to get to hunt ~40 days a year, western big game is a totally new world for me.

I look forward to learning more from y'all on big game and contributing where I can w/r/t bird hunting and redfishing.

P.S. if anyone is a central Virginia public land turkey hunter, I'm leaving the state for good and have some low-pressure places that may be worth checking out now that I'm done with them.
