Just figured I'd introduce myself. My name's Jake, I grew up in the Finger Lakes of NY but spent much of my time in the Adirondack wilderness; hunting, fishing and trapping. After college I began working as a fisheries biologist in Pennsylvania. This fall I will be moving back to northern ny. I miss the wilderness too damn much. Last year I was lucky enough to harvest a bear deep in the adirondacks with my fiancé. And this spring I made my first trip out west and harvested a spot and stalk bear in Idaho. In a couple months I will be headed back to Idaho in search of mulies and elk. I have been lurking this forum for awhile and have already learned so much. You all seem like a great bunch of guys.
