New Federal Lead 350gr Bor Lock

They shoot excellent out of both of my Knights. Hopefully I get to see how they preform on elk in a few weeks, my wife is trying muzzleloading elk this year.

Keep me updated on how they perform, I'm not ML hunting this year but probably will test them out.

Yep. I tried the copper 270 grain also just to see what the difference in poi was. They shot well also, just grouped a bit higher then the 350.

They both load nice, easier then a sabot but harder then a powebelt. The tips on the 350 pull out pretty easy is my only complaint so far.

I think the tips pulling out was also a common complaint on the 270gr last year.

Tips pulling out is almost always the wrong jag for loading. The only bad thing i've heard about the 350gr lead version is they wouldn't group. So, it's a bullet you need to try in your gun to see if it likes them. I would think terminal performance should be good. Certainly, better than the copper 270gr version.

By pulling out easy I mean falling out. Like in the package and in speed loaders. The 350 shoots awesome for me as long as you don't try and push it to hard.

My wife shot a bull quartering toward @ 62 yards last week with them and the performance was great. She hit it almost directly on the humerus/ scapula joint and it completely shattered it in multiple pieces. Bullet took off the top of the heart both lungs and broke a rib on the far side but didn't exit.

Once the bull was quartered I tried to find the bullet and it was nowhere to be found. I did find the plastic base and it was rolled back on the top suggesting the bullet mushroomed well but who knows.
