This looks like an option I would put on some rifles. 16 ounces and 6.8” long. It’s small and relatively light.

It would work for me out to 400 to 500 depending on the cartridge using hold overs.

It’s OK that it is SFP, but I want to see it in MIL, which I gotta assume it will come at some point.

Concur that looks interesting. I’d be a tad worried about the single ring design but it appears it may be integrated which theory could make it stronger.

It’s not that it is even a “ring” but a direct mount. It borrows the mount style from an ACOG or something. I am going to look into that, but I imagine it is solid enough or there will be known issues.

Someone smarter than me can comment and save me the hassle of following up with that, lol.😂

That's a pretty interesting little compact option. The eye-relief is a bit short, but it's an inch more than a 3x ACOG, with almost twice the field-of-view at 100yds on 3x. Could be pretty useful in some AR applications, especially if it's built a little rugged.

Id buy one if they made it with a mil reticle.
Same here.

I think the AR platform is the intended purpose, but that would go great on a medium range hunting rifle that is lightweight and short barrel for hunts inside 300 to 400 yards.

That concept is what I want for a rifle to take back to the east where most shots are gonna be inside 100. Or, for things like coyote hunting here in the west.

That’s a cool little scope. What does it give up being that short other than a small objective? It’s probably super rigid. Maybe all our scopes will continue to shrink?

I’m not knocking them, but next time don’t have the intern write the scope description on the webpage:

The HC1 is an excellent choice for precision long-range shooting such as bench rest, F-class and small game dog hunting.

I doubt it will be popping up at benchrest matches or while hunting game dogs, large or small. Honestly had to ask AI what a game dog is and this popped out:

This is hilarious!

On a more serious note, this scope reminds me of the March Tactical 1-10x scopes that were a 35mm tube or something like that and could be mounted with a single ring.

What’s weird to me is the LPVO with features I want are heavier than 16 ounces…
