New Early Colorado Rifle Hunt (above timberline only)

Has anyone given thought to this new early rifle season hunt and do you think it would be easy to draw for a non resident first year out? I believe it's for units 48, 481, 56, and 561 and it states above timberline only. I've got 4 mule deer points and was going to wait one more year to let the deer recover from past winters. Any thoughts?

The few early above timberline units I know about take residents around 10 pref points to draw, not sure how many it'll take a non resident

Those tags aren't going to be easy!!! They fought hard enough to get them. I don't agree to much with putting rifle hunters in the middle of an archery season but what do I know!!! If you are serious about a rifle hunt and getting it in early I would at least try it out. If nothing else you get your point!!!
