I wish I could say these are 100% unworn but they are practically new. I put them on, walked around the block for 20 minutes to get to this area with lots of trees and a small hill and came home. Maybe I'm not giving them enough of a chance but I don't think I'm an insulated boot guy. The insulation is light though but I also don't think I'm a fan of a taller boot. It's only 2 inches taller than my Crispi Wyomings, but I think the 8" on those is perfect for me.
