Its not counter intuitive at all. Target bows are all set up with very low let off for a reason. The more back tension you apply on the wall the steadier you will be. This applies to a dynamic shot process that requires you to pull through the shot. It is much easier to activate a clean break with proper tension. Low let off is going to give you a spongier pull through. Your cams also have to eat up all that slack, and the arrow leaves the string slower. Nathan Brooks recently started shooting 75 lbs in a target bow and is shooting better than ever. Levi Morgan also shoots 70 plus pounds with a low let off target cam.Can you expand on this a little? That seems counterintuitive to me.
