Looking at ordering a new bow in the next few weeks and for the first time, have the opportunity to pick from all of the Hoyt colors. Wondering if anybody has some cool looking bows they can post pictures of for some ideas. I’m currently shooting a bow I’ve had for 18 years and is pretty plain. I like the idea of having something a little more unique.

Right now I’m thinking I’ll go with a solid color

Thanks!!

I like solid colors more than camo. I really like that green color Hoyt has. Pair it with the green limbs or solid black limbs. I’m going to try and order a new Hoyt soon and will be going with the green color. Go to their webpage and they have a bow builder where you can choose colors, mix and match, string colors, etc. That will give you a good idea of what it will look like.

I really like solid colors too. The bad thing about the solid colors is they do not hide little scratches and such from hunting like a camp pattern does. I've had two solid Hoyt, one in a sand color and one in a dark charcoal. With the dark charcoal color, I can use a permanent marker to color over spots, and it almost matches. With the sand color, I've just left it alone. This is why I got the Sitka camo pattern on my new bow.

I hunt with my bow a lot. I use it on backpacking trips, blinds, brush, 3d shoots, 4 wheeler rides. It's a tool and using causes some visible wear.

I think the look of the PSE charcoal riser with the bronze cams and bronze limb pockets is one of the best color combos I’ve ever seen.

So with the Hoyt, maybe try out the stone color riser and then rattle can or cerakote the cams and limb pockets (not sure if that voids any warranty from Hoyt, but it’d look sharp).

I don’t have my bow yet but was in the same situation and had hunted with a blackout bow for the past 12 years. I went with camo this time and chose Kuiu Verde riser with black limbs on a new RX-9. I played with the AI bow builder on Hoyt’s site to see what it may look like before hand as well as internet photos of the camo on a bow. In person, I actually thought Mossy Oak Bottom looked nice on a bow as well.

My lift is earth riser black limbs I obviously like it cause I bought it lol. If I were to shoot Hoyt again I think that grey color they have with the green color would look cool. Prime midnight blue riser and ridge rock limbs might be my favorite color combo I haven’t seen yet in person but the bow builder it looks so unique I almost wanna buy one.IMG_5866.jpeg

This isn't my bow, but same riser, limbs and quiver..

I used the bow builder on the website to pick the colors on my new ax2 32. Probably not for everyone but I went with wilderness green riser / baby caca brown (bourbon) limbs / flo yellow string and cables and like it quite a bit. Will try to post a photo

I’m a fan of solids. Don’t currently have an all black bow in the stable right now, but my next bow will probably be all black again. Accessories just look better on all black everything, and any string combo looks great with it.

Holy smokes! That’s the exact configuration I’ll be going with as well. I would like to see a photo of that.

Mossy Oak or Cerca look sharp, the latter is my favorite camo on any bow right now. I have liked the solid riser with camo limbs and just got a LiftX with their green riser and Mossy Oak limbs, but I'd swap it for bourbon riser Cerca limbs any day.
