New Backfire Lightweight Hunting Chassis?

So, is the case against locked closed that you are worried that the animal, that hasn’t spooked while you took your pack off to pull your rifle out of its stored position, is going to take off when you open the Hnt26 stock hastily?

I carry my rifles now extended in the sg sling or obi mount on my shoulder so probably not a real issue for me nowadays but in the past I have had axis deer blow from a bipod leg click or safety click on a still mornings before and the hnt 26 click was just as loud if not louder if careless so that kind of bugged me.

Not sure of your point on semantics, either way you are expressing doubt in the chassis based on armchair engineering, and my point that this product is likely to be tested and vetted before release stands. Im open to changing my opinion if data shows the chassis is deficient for larger calibers.

If it sucks, it sucks. If it works, it works. If vortex dropped an optic that passed durability standards and had decent features I’d be objective enough to use it. So It goes with him releasing a chassis. At least it’s another option in a market saturated with gay options that all have downfalls.

Not sure that's what he actually named his son, or if it's an assumed name ... and which would be worse.

It is one of the odder looking chassis and the butt stock looks like it would be super flimsy. Not sure I’d want to be a first buyer

Hand guard is obnoxious, the green they used is gross, and the carbon piece filling the frame in the buttock is dumb. Nonetheless, if it works it’ll be a good addition to the market for the weight/price.

No doubt, if it works, it works, and the price is good. I’m just a little skeptical of the quality

Absolutely. My response was to the poster that stated that Backfire has a history of testing and vetting correctly. The product may be awesome- time will tell; but Backfire certainly doesn’t have any history of correct or large scale in-depth testing. He is a true YouTube influencer and behaves as such.

For one it is so great that you need a cage to store it in. Second, it doesn’t do anything better in actual shooting than about 20 other pads.

I watched the video last night. The different design and thought behind the chassis, weight, as well as the price point make it very interesting.

I haven't tried alot of the other butt pads available on the market but the backfire recoil pad is a noticeable step up from the stock one from stockys tikka vg that peeled off on a hunt.
I like that you can select your exact stock or rifle. When my stockys pad peeled off I tried to find an airtech recoil pad to fit. Ordered the two that seemed to be talked about online as being a fit but neither would work.
