Considering new arrows and looking for some opinions.
A number of years ago, I bought a few dozen PSE Carbon Force Radial X Weave Stl Hunter 300 shafts. I had tried a few and found they flew great out of my bow, were durable and a reasonable price. I have used them for years but now have not many left. They are no longer made so I am looking at what I might want to switch to. Lots of options from lots of manufacturers - the choices are somewhat overwhelming. My primary purpose is for hunting - up to moose sized critters - out of a 70# bow at 30" shaft length. Appreciate any opinions.

Hard to beat a gold tip hunter xt. I run .300s 28” with 50 grain inserts and a 100 grain head out of my 70# bow.

If you wanted to run heavier than standard inserts you’d probably be better to go with .250 spine since your draw/arrow length is longer.

For the money, I think they’re the best hunting shafts out there.

I'll second fatlander's point on the Hunter XT's - I run 28.5 inch arrows with a 50 grain insert and 125 grain point so I went with the 250 spine, but they shoot great. Switched after shooting FMJ's and got tired of having bent arrows after a couple months of shooting.

First you need to decide what inside diameter you want to use, and the price range. Tons of great options in all categories.

Im a big fan of gold tip. They are more durable than axis by quite a bit. You can even go up from the hunters if you want but I dont think its needed. For the money I dont think you can beat them. Im curious about day six because they are supposed to be super tough but I cant justify the price right now.

I would consider day six arrows. The component system allows you to change weights and protect the front of the shaft.
