I was curious how easy or hard it is going to be to adjust the stays? Will they be removable or just bend in place on the frame itself?

It is for sale on kifaru's website and I thought I read Aron talking about it in the kifaru forum 2014 announcements thread.

You will probably be able to just bend it as needed. With the bikini design I don't think the stays can be removed.

Word of caution, be careful how you bend the stays or Aron will make fun of you! (from personal experience)

They aren't removable, so they need to be done with frame built.

If you know what type of bend you need (or close anyway), we can get you close at the factory, but after that, you can use any rounded object to bend them.

The difference is 9oz on the duplex frames so im assuming it would be close to that.

I saw that was the difference in the duplex, just curious if that is the exact difference with the bikini.

Wonder if the alum bikini still uses composite cross bars, or if those are alum also. Suppose I could call on this, but thought I would post the ? here since there was already a thread on alum frame started.

Maybe I'm dim witted here, but what's the advantage of the alum frame?

Easy, price and for those people that need a custom bend for their back profile that doesn't quite work with the standard or flat composite bends.

I believe the only advantage is the ability to custom form them to your'e back ie. flat, standard bend, or how you want them for comfort. I ordered one because it was .15 off a week ago in multicam. I'm using aluminum in my t2, and I do think it might be tricky to get the bend equal on each while on the frame, but I should be able to give more feedback when I get it around the end of January.

Any photos of the aluminum bikini - specifically the cross member attachments and how they are joined to the stays?
