Yes, you read that correctly. In addition to their new line of lightweight sleeping bags and pads, the NeoAir Uberlite Pad clocks in at an incredible 8.8 ounces with a full 2.5" of air cushion, which is the same amount of cushion in any of the NeoAir pad line, and hands down the lightest comparable sleeping pad on the market. And it rolls up the size of beer can.

It's an impressive pad for the weight and size and I loved using it last year during archery season. The Uberlite has an R value of 2+, so it is best suited for early season hunts. Check it out!

I'm surprised the R value is 2, compared to the 3.2 of the NeoAir's. That must be some crazy thin material to lose that much R value.

The fabric is thinner, but the decreased R-value is due to the fact that it doesn't contain the reflective film inside that the x-lite and x-therm do.

I just got one.

Have not used it yet but 2 out of the box gripes. One, it was a pain in the ass to inflate. Took more pressure than my Neoair. Maybe that will change. Two, it makes a popping sound when you lay on it and move around. Not the crinkle of the neoair lite but more of a popping and a little less annoying. I think it is air moving through various baffled chambers but don’t know enough about the build of the thing to say for sure. A bit disappointing as I had understood this thing was much quieter.

Saw that pad.....

Its going to be a winner for the summertime ounce counters.

When you start to lose basic function [durability and insulation] I would go Xtherm for hunts instead any day of the week. I already own 1/2 doz pads...otherwise I would have bought that Xtherm on the REI sale last week.
