New 6.5PRC sig cross sawtooth

Yea i know in normal bomt guns they can be made on a short action. They told me it's an action length in between short and long. Really wish they had some more parts availible to customize these guns. A longer handguard on the 6.5 prc would be to my likings. Or if they would sell a magnum bolt face to work in a standard short action cross and get a barrel to go to 6.5prc. Love my 6.5 creed cross

I'm quite fond my cross after installing the 18in proof carbon 6cm barrel. Shoots really well.

I wonder what types of magazines the 65prc magnum cross is using if it's a tweener action, longer than aics short, but smaller than thel long action.

Im not sure which it actually is as i have got conflicting info on shirt action vs mid. Some videos on YouTube show short some mid but one video showed it as a short and thry introduced him as an engineer for sig. So with that, the fact that it uses the same folder mechanism the shirt action does while the long action has a new one, and the weight is significantly less than the long action magnum I'm going to guess it is short action. The mag also shows made by mdt and on their site this mag looks closest to their aics short action magnum.

talked with a rep at Sig today and he asked some of the "technical professionals" they confirmed it is a short action magnum, using an aics pattern mag.

I had the cross in 308. I have it now in 6.5 creedmoor that I'm loading to 6.5 prc velocity. I have the sawtooth in 300prc. I've had a few tikkas in 7 rem mag. If I had no rifles and needed 1 I wouldn't waste my money on a 22 inch 6.5prc I would get the sawtooth in 7prc and some precision hunter off the shelf it'll shoot .5-.7 moa all day and take whatever game u want out to 1000 yards. The prc is just a hot loaded creedmoor so either get the creedmoor in the lighter 18 inch barrel model or get a prc worth having.
@andrewstclair how fast are you getting out of your 6.5 creed?
