New .300 Win Mag

no votes for the X-Bolt Pro long range? I thought I would see that recommended here at least once already. I have not had the pleasure of shooting one, but they sure seem to handle nicely.

I would love to say the xbolt pro long range since I have one but at this point it has yet to impress me. I am a factory ammo shooter and have not found anything it likes yet!?!? HSM 185 Berger= 2+moa, ELDX 200= 1.5moa, Nosler 190 ablr = 1.5 moa, Nosler 180 an = 2moa. I just picked up a box of Berger 215 hybrids so I’ll see how those do next week. I have a xbolt hell’s canyon long range in 7mm rem mag and it’s shooting 185 Berger’s .5moa all day everyday!

I have a couple 300 WM and the lightest is a Kimber 8400 and it shoots almost everything I feed it less than an inch and probably lightest you will find. I was so impressed I got a 25-06 Montana to replace a Browning I never could get to shoot. I have 4 coopers as well and highly recommend them, but at half the price I can't believe you will do better than a Kimber. We do live in great times with lots of great options though.

Ok update on the 300 win mag xbolt pro long range. I got a box of factory Berger 215 hybrids and they shoot great! I’m getting 2880 FPS and 3/4moa out to 200 so far. Going to see how they do to 400-500 this week.
