Still need to pick up a bipod (thinking TBAC) and then when the NX8's are back I will get one. Technically could buy on off amazon but I plan to get it from Doug.

Hell yeah! I run a 28 nosler. I've killed with 180 VLD's at 3120fps and the 195 EOL's at 3030fps. They both performed excellent. That 168 should be no different!

Ya I had a bunch of grand plans when I called them to upgrade from the TT Special to the Diamond and they talked me out of it, who did you deal with? I ordered through Garret, he’s a solid dude for sure.

I saw you registered the action first and then shipped to Alamo. I asked about this option since it seems like most of the LT comes from waiting on the barrel from Proof. Sounds like they'd rather send the complete build to my FFL instead. Selfishly, I want to get that 10 day done as early as possible and get to the range. Also would be good to only pay taxes on the action (I'm in Komifornia as well)

APR is great, I would recommend calling. If you watch Erik Cortina’s video you’ll see just how much is going on there.

When I called I had a build sheet in my inbox before I even got off the phone, I called back a few days later to pay and the communication has been great. Have to assume those contact us email things get flooded.

Just call them.

I emailed them about 4 or 5 days prior and had not heard back. I just called yesterday, told them the altitude with several changes. They did it as custom, emailed me a build sheet while I was on phone. I reviewed it for a few minutes, to make sure it was correct, and if there was anything else I wanted to change. I then called back and gave them a deposit.
The whole process took maybe 15 minutes counting my review. It was cake, if I would have known it were that simple, I would have never emailed.

They were closed for holidays and am sure they got swamped with emails and have gotten behind on following up I am sure.

They’ve built 2 for me. A LH 6.5cm and LH. 6.5prc.

Great guys to deal with.
They could have easily sold me more than i needed, but actually talked me out of some things.

This is not my rifle, this was built by Kyle Craig, but I remember when I saw this picture I knew right then I was building a gun for my next one and I sent this picture to APR for reference of what I wanted, so we will see how close they were able to get.

Obviously won't have the manners stock and will have a 419 brake, won't have a detachable mag so there are some differences. But they were able to get me a Trigger Tech Special with black trigger and safety.

Absolutely cannot wait to see it in person.

That’s pretty funny, I emailed them myself on Sunday......apparently there’s a crowd of us. Thinking same exact thing, Altitude seems like one hell of a package.
