New 2016 Crosman Air Bow Gun

SHOT Show Media Day had only one air gun company at the range.
Yep, you guessed it. Crosman and their new Pioneer. (I refuse to use the word "bow" with this weapon)

I talked to the product manager for this weapon at SHOT for a good little bit. I told him it wasn't a bow and shouldn't be used in archery seasons.

He agreed.

I just think they want it made legal for any type of hunting, regardless of season. They have a map on their website that shows the states that are allowing it and for what.

It's purely marketing. I can't blame them. That doesn't mean I have to agree with them.

I thought it was a cool weapon and told the guy I like it. But, I let him know I'd never use it to hunt anything except possibly hogs. To me it's just a step in the opposite direction from why I started using a stick and string in the first place.

On a side note, it was absolutely hilarious when some jack wagon accidentally dry fired one right over Eva Shockey's head.
