Nevada Dream Tag - Archery Elk unit input

I pulled the Nevada Dream Tag for elk this year. Planning to hunt the archery season. Got the tag notification in July, so I’m on a short timeline to scout and get prepped.

Looking to focus on bulls in the upper age class — 380–400”+ if possible. Hunting diy with no guide. I’ll be dedicating a lot of time to this, but need to make smart decisions early given the limited lead-up.

Right now I’m considering:

• 231
• 221–223
• 111–115

I’d appreciate input from anyone with time in these units, especially archery season:

• Best unit choice for a legit chance at a 380–400” class bull?
• Bull behavior in late August/early September — where do they typically hold?
• How much archery pressure do these units see?
• Private land issues vs. public access advantages?

I’m not looking for spots or pins — just trying to narrow down where to invest my time. Any insights would be appreciated.

still enough time to get on the internet, join a forum and ask for honey holes though lol. Just get a guide man. Your situation (I want a 380 but with no time to scout! lol) is exactly what a guide is for.
