Nevada Draw?

The spouse, the neighbor, the neighbors 2 adult sons, the folks at work... no one got drawn for diddly this year. Well, except me (here hee). I got bull last year, so won’t be eligible again for 7 years, but was lucky and drew Spike early, any legal weapon. But we don’t limit our applications to just males as we hunt meat, so no doe or cow tags AT ALL is really surprising. Anyone know about the number of applicants this year? We listened to NDOWS Nevada Wild a few weeks ago, about a week before tag application closed, and the report then was that apps were way down from last year. Did folks put in last minute due to meat shortages? Just wondering...
