Need wood stove recommendations for small house

I would recommend avoiding the box store chinese stoves. Used quality brand stoves are not too hard to find and I highly recommend that route.

100 percent agree. Once you have a bed of coals you can load it up, choke it down, and it will run for 12 hours with barely a stoke. Install brick on the wall and you can get it pretty close without worry.

Find a quality used stove on marketplace. I found my pacific energy for $450( about 4k new)and it’s been our only heat source for the last 3 years. In laws bought a Drolet for less than $1000 last year online from Blaine’s farm and fleet but it looks like they only carry a China brand now.
