Need to get ~6 guns up to Alaska. Whats the best way? (not driving).

The case I use the most is called a Gun Guard. It's very heavy duty plastic with a handle in the middle (for suitcase style carry), and a handle on one end with wheels on the other for wheeling around. Here are some pictures of it loaded with four long guns (three of which have scopes), and four handguns.

Smart choice taking them on the airplane.....shipping is 2-3x the cost and headache is another 2-3x.

Love all the ridiculous comments about shipping to/from California from people out of state.....buy/sell/ship all the time from California with absolutely no problems!

I live in Juneau and hunt in Idaho a lot. Sending several guns can get spendy on the airlines with you, with extra bagage fees. Try Alaska air cargo. Much cheaper and they do a great job. Guns will arrive the same day as you.
