Need some help

Total tripod newbie and need some help figuring out what adaptor I need. Quick google search had me confused. Can anyone point me in the right direction to attach this ball head?

I feel like a piece of your tripod is missing. What tripod is it?

That is certainly possible. It is a buddiesman dt-15?? (the sticker is ripped) model, bought used off ebay.

Is the extendable portion separable from the rest of the tripod? If so, there might be a threaded stud hidden under the extension that could be used to attach your ballhead.

If I take the middle bar off it looks like this, but still no way to thread that on.

I found an image of a similar tripod. Is it the short center column piece that I am missing do you think?
