Need help picking a new trailer!

Enclosed with a ramp rear door, might want to measure your can am with 30" ties.
My 16' x 8.5 has a rear ramp and I have to air down my Defender pro XT stock 27's to clear the rear door support header. The rest of the trailer interior height is just fine.

To potentially gain cargo door header clearance either elevate the back end of the trailer (something under tires) or find a dip where the ramp touches the ground. Makes quite a difference on my little CargoMate enclosed when loading/unloading the little Honda Pioneer 520. The other day I'd backed the trailer up a bit of a hill and the ramp was nearly level, causing the P520 roof (very short roof that ends just past the roll bar over the driver) to touch on the way out. I've got decent clearance when everything is on level ground and a lot when the ramp is at a steeper angle to the trailer floor (trailer tires elevated or ramp in a dip)

Of course all this depends on the geometry of the SxS roof as well as the trailer ramp. What I suggest likely wouldn't gain you much of anything with a SxS with a long roof extending back over the SxS bed.
